Spring in Cambra

Our next concert will be in less than a month - Spring in Cambria. It's the first time we've had a Cambria concert since I've been with PRO, so I'm really looking forward to it. We should be getting the postcard in the mail on Wednesday of this week, so if you're a North County person, keep an eye on your mailbox. We're also mailing to all of our donors, and any SLO or South County patron who have gone to other North County events like Opera in the Vineyard.

This concert is going to be strikingly good, I think. Featured singers include:

Carol Ann Manzi, soprano (Butterfly)
Torlef Borsting, baritone (Sharpless in Butterfly)
Karen Dunn, mezzo soprano (Marcellina in Figaro)

And two Young Cal Poly Artists, students of Jackie Kreitzer:

Kristen Choi (Barbarina in Figaro)
Rory Fratkin (new to PRO)

and the repertoire will be mixed opera, operetta and musical theater.
