Auction Items for Broadway by the Sea

Broadway by the Sea is coming this weekend! All of us in the office are extremely excited, and we hope you are too!

It looks like the weather will be upwards of 80 degrees, so be sure to pack that floppy hat and sunscreen! PRO will be selling delicious (and cold!) homemade lemonade for $1.00 a glass.

We're going to have a nice selection of silent auction items for the concert.

Our fabulous new website launch!

I'm as pleased as can be to announce the launch of our brand-new website, scheduled for tonight. It's been a lot of careful and thoughtful work put into what we want to say about how PRO is growing and changing, and hours of proofing and tweaking (KUDOS to Sharon, Yvonne and Carolyn for their awesome skills and dedication!!) We've contracted with Barnett-Cox Associates and could not have been happier with the results!

I think you will find that this beautiful website speaks volumes about the exciting future of Pacific Repertory Opera!

Broadway by the Sea ideas...

If you're planning on coming to Broadway by the sea, here are some ideas: 1. Make a day of it - bring a picnic and your friends! In my last email, I highlighted a couple of sites that had interesting picnic menus - so in case you're not on that email list, here they are again:

2. Here's another thought - Shell Beach in summer is one of those places that can be very warm and sunny (think beach-hot) or very cold and foggy. We don't provide umbrellas with our table seating, but we encourage floppy hats! So prepare for sun with your sunscreen and hats, and prepare for the fog with your sweaters. Last year's weather was lovely - but you never know till we get there!

3. We will also be having a small silent auction with some nice items that we hope you'll enjoy. So plan a few extra minutes to browse the tables. I'll be providing a list of the auction items in the next few weeks, so keep watching!
