It's beautiful here in Denver - warm and sunny; just what you'd like a Rocky Mountain Spring to be. The Opera America conference is on its second to last day - it's been go-go-go since Tuesday. This conference is a joint conference with several other performing arts disciplines - orchestras, ballet, chorus and theater. 3,500 people! We've taken over nearly the entire Denver Convention Center, which is the largest building I've EVER been in. It can take 15 minutes - inside the building - to walk from one classroom to another. Not kidding.

It's been a wonderful experience - it's my third OA conference, but I seem to be seeing everything with a fresh set of eyes.

Another hint of upcoming program...

Well, as the SLO staff are working madly finding venues and themes, Robert works from where ever to help us put together a cohesive program, and then has to find the singers and the right pieces for each program. Busy! But I promised a hint - so here it is. This summer is going to be a busy one for PRO. And you're going to have a lot of choices - venue, music, part of the county. Yup. It's gonna be so fun!
